Our LEED-certified headquarters continues to make a real environmental impact by producing 64 megawatts of energy, saving 99,000 lbs of CO₂ emissions, and offsetting the equivalent of 113,000 miles driven on sunshine.
Project Milestone
2025 marks the 10-years since our design and installation of a 1.0 MW solar PV array for a federal customer in Fredericksburg, MD. In the 10 years that M.C. Dean has been operating and maintaining this system, it has generated 12,653,741 kWh of green electricity saving 11,153 metric tons of CO₂e. This is equivalent to removing 810 gasoline-powered cars from the road and is enough electricity to power 190 homes.
