AstraZeneca recently presented two M.C. Dean employees with awards for their outstanding job site safety management. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 1 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The annual award is presented to individuals who exhibit outstanding leadership in driving a strong construction safety culture.

The two employees, Brian Farrell and Jacob Nelson, were nominated by peers and supervisors from their current project in Coppell, Texas, where M.C. Dean is are providing multi-disciplinary engineering and support services for an AstraZeneca manufacturing facility. Team members identified the men as “role models and champions” on their job site.

“It is an honor to have a valued customer acknowledge our field leadership for their commitment to safety and ORM,” said John Bennett, vice president of safety. “Brian and Jacob exemplify what it means to be M.C. Dean leaders, and it is this kind of leadership that allows us to operate at industry-high levels of safety.”
