M.C. Dean has ranked No. 18 on the 2019 Washington Business Journal (WBJ) list of Largest Private Company in Greater D.C. This marks an improvement from No. 20 the prior two years.

The list ranks the area’s top private companies by revenue, and includes companies like Bechtel (No. 2) and long-time partners Clark (No. 4), and HITT (No. 9).

“The D.C. area is a hub for technology growth and federal contracting, so to be marked as a top private company is a huge honor,” said Bill Dean, chief executive officer. “WBJ’s list of 99 other top private companies includes some of M.C. Dean’s most trusted peers and long-time customers, and we’re honored to be recognized among them. We plan to continue ascending the list for years to come.”

The Book of Lists is an annually released compilation of the Washington Business Journal’s weekly rankings, which feature hundreds of the hottest local companies in each field. The Book of Lists print edition is distributed in December, with an annual Book of Lists Celebration hosted in January.

M.C. Dean is also ranked on the WBJ Top Engineering Firm and Top Government Technology Contractor lists as No. 16 and No. 17, respectively, earlier this year.
