M.C. Dean and CCO leadership recognized the team at Modular Mission Critical™

CCO Certifications 2025 Gold Employer Award

The Certification of Crane Operators (CCO Certifications) recently presented M.C. Dean with the 2025 Gold Employer Award for demonstrating employee development dedication. This follows recent investments to grow the company’s logistics expertise and support safe, efficient project delivery.

“As project scale and complexity grow, so does the demand for specialized equipment and highly skilled personnel,” said Tom Kane, M.C. Dean director of logistics. “Our team has grown from 20 to 34 members, reflecting both the company’s expanding project portfolio and commitment to building in-house expertise.”

20+ employees completed telehandler safety training at MMC, closely mirroring official certification testing.

Continued Logistics Investment

Development investments include in-house trainings for key logistics and rigging certifications at their Modular Mission Critical™ (MMC) facility – Operator, Rigger 1 and 2, Signal Person, Telescopic Boom Crane, Service Truck Crane, and Crawler Cranes certifications.

Completing this full suite qualifies individuals to become certified lift directors, an increasingly critical role on every job site. The team currently includes two lift directors, with a goal of assigning one to every project.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished,” said Kane. “Their hard work reflects our commitment to excellence and safety.”

MMC also added new specialized logistics equipment to support data center project delivery, including two overhead gantry cranes, a straddle carrier, and additional rigging supplies.
