M.C. Dean has been granted Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification for its patent overhead conduit spacer. This certification allows M.C. Dean to expand its capabilities to deliver 100 percent modular projects. These conduit spacers are prefabricated at our ISO-9001, ModularMEP™ Manufacturing Facility.
In existence for more than 120 years, UL is a widely recognized global safety science organization, which offers universally recognized product safety, quality, and reliability standards.
“Pursuing UL is a rigorous and comprehensive process,” said Nishat Ahmed, vice president of quality. “The certification helps us to market our products rapidly and provide a gauge for customer satisfaction and safety.”
According to UL, the UL certification works to provide safe living and working environments through the application of safety science, and also supports the production and use of products that are physically and environmentally safe.
M.C. Dean is currently in the process of applying for these same certifications for control panels, early access power modules, and electrical modules.
