M.C. Dean was appraised for both services and development models at Maturity Level 3 by the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Institute. The CMMI appraisal was performed by Williamsburg Process Solutions, LLC.

“CMMI certification is a positive reflection of our organizational maturity and performance, and also confirms our ability to scale to meet growing customer demands,” said Bill Dean, M.C. Dean chief executive officer.

The CMMI Maturity Level 3 distinction indicates that an organization is performing at a “defined” level, where operations are proactive rather than reactive. At this level, processes are well-defined, documented, and standardized.

The CMMI Institute is the global leader in the advancement of best practices for people, processes, and technology. The organization’s promise is to inspire improvements and create a sustainable competitive advantage.

“Achieving this distinction is a benchmark for our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality standard products and services to our customers,” said Nishat Ahmed, vice president of quality control. “We use the CMMI maturity model to create processes to improve the quality of products and services as well as to guide our overall business structure.”
