The GCR-Dean LLC joint venture was recently VetBiz certified by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, significantly broadening federal market opportunities with procurements designated for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
“M.C. Dean has a long and proud history of supporting veterans,” explained Mark Tibbetts, global capture director of facilities management and energy programs. “In partnering with GCR, we are continuing our support for our country’s heroes and expanding the impact of our technical expertise.”
The joint venture between GCR (protégé) and M.C. Dean (mentor) was established in 2018 and certified by the Small Business Administration under the government’s small business mentor-protégé program. This program allows small businesses and large companies to partner and fill gaps in niche service areas. It is also an avenue to share best practices and continue to encourage the growth of veteran-owned businesses.
