The M.C. Dean Foundation donated $100,000 to the Children’s Educational Development (CED) Society, continuing our support and involvement in a community surrounded by challenges.

The CED Society provides many services to disadvantaged and disabled children in India and the Himalayan region. Focusing on helping girls to succeed in a non-inclusive community struggling with gender inequality, the CED Society developed initiatives concentrated in assisting abused young women by providing necessary shelter, education, and resources. The programs include the Girls Institute for Technology (GIFT), PinkPADS, and other associated campaigns.

Lama Tenzin Congeal, founder of CED Society, was presented a $100,000 check during his visit to our headquarters in Tysons, VA.

“The past couple of years have been difficult for everyone, but the obstacles the CED Society endured were especially trying,” said Bill Dean, CEO. “Lama’s gratitude and perseverance to help these children during challenging times inspires us all.”

M.C. Dean’s partnership with the CED Society has assisted in developing better resources and opportunities for CED students for over 20 years. We appreciate our growing partnership and trust with the CED Society. We are honored to contribute to their significant progress in helping these children.
