This year’s Washington Business Journal Book of Lists marks our jump in ranking on two lists since last year. Since debuting as both a top engineering firm and a top government technology contractor on last year’s list, M.C. Dean has moved one spot higher on each list. We’re now recognized as the No. 16 largest government technology contractor and the No. 15 top engineering firm in the D.C. Metro area.

WBJ ranked companies according to 2018 Metro-area employees, billings, and total revenue. The Book of Lists is an annually released compilation of the Washington Business Journal’s weekly rankings, which feature hundreds of the hottest local companies in each field. The Book of Lists print edition is distributed in December, with an annual Book of Lists Celebration hosted in January.
