M.C. Dean announced the promotion of Misty Miran, director of human resources, to vice president of corporate human resources. In this role, Miran will provide leadership and strategic integration of the company’s corporate human resources portfolio, including employee relations, benefits and compensation, retention initiatives, new hire experience, and compliance.
Miran has been an integral part of M.C. Dean for almost 25 years, holding multiple leadership roles in our human resources team. Her detailed knowledge of M.C. Dean’s operations, projects, and leadership, combined with her extensive expertise in employee relations and industry best practices, make her the perfect candidate to lead our corporate human resources team.
Before joining M.C. Dean, Miran was a human resources generalist with Dominion Energy in Leesburg, Virginia.
The Human Resources service center is reorganizing its leadership composed of three functions: corporate human resources, learning and development, and talent acquisition.
This strategic move enhances our HR capabilities and ensures that we continue to provide exceptional support to our employees while fostering their professional growth within M.C. Dean. This new leadership team will streamline our processes, optimize talent acquisition, and deliver targeted learning initiatives. Going forward, this leadership team will report directly to Bill Dean, M.C. Dean chief executive officer. Please join us in welcoming our new HR leaders—Misty Miran, Tommy Bumstead, and Jamal Baadani, who will lead these functions.
