M.C. Dean has earned Platinum and Gold Hermes Creative Awards for two strategic campaigns: the 75th Anniversary “Transforming Tomorrow” and the Anniversaries & Kudos Initiatives. This achievement reinforces our forward-thinking industry leadership and showcases our culture of excellence.

Platinum Award Winner | Transforming Tomorrow Campaign

This campaign celebrated M.C. Dean’s 75 years of innovation and laid a strategic vision for the future to meet our customers’ most pressing challenges, emphasizing advancements in modular manufacturing and technology delivery.

The anniversary celebration led off with several employee-focused activities including social media highlights, employee features, internal communications, and an anniversary gift. The campaign culminated at the 75th Anniversary Tech Expo and Diamond Gala in October, where CEO Bill Dean launched our “Transforming Tomorrow” vision to customers and reinforced these themes with employees through a multi-day immersion in demonstrations, exhibits, training, and workshops all aligned with the two over-arching themes.

A four-person campaign leadership team provided oversight to ensure alignment with strategy, messaging, branding, schedule, and budget parameters, with oversight for cross-company alignment by the 75th Anniversary Executive Working Group. The structured project team included every corporate function (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Travel, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement), engineering leaders, and specialized external vendors for additional scope including animation, 3D printing, AV, and event support.

Gold Award Winner | Anniversaries & Kudos Initiative

This campaign was created to foster an enhanced culture of appreciation and recognition within M.C. Dean. Developed in coordination between our HR and Marketing teams, this initiative provides a dedicated digital platform for employees to publicly acknowledge colleagues’ milestones and contributions, boosting morale and connectivity across teams. Through six months of research, UI/UX development, and user testing, the cross-functional team leveraged employee engagement best practices and internal resources to develop a scalable program that provides personal, meaningful acknowledgements for employees to feel recognized for their hard work and contributions.
