FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

M.C. Dean CEO Bill Dean announced the final incentive raffle winner of the company’s Vaccine Incentive Reward Program for hourly frontline workers. The winner was surprised by the leadership team and more than 80 site employees in a sweepstakes-style surprise event at a project site in downtown Washington D.C.

In September, the company launched an incentive program to reward hourly field employees for getting vaccinated. Employees received $300 in cash per month and a chance to win one of two grand prizes—Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4—drawn on November 15 and December 15, respectively. The company also provided 25 percent of the prize value to winners to offset tax impacts.

“We wanted to offer a special incentive to our frontline workers who have been working throughout the pandemic to get vaccinated before the federal or client mandate went into effect,” said CEO Bill Dean. “More than 75 percent of our workforce is now vaccinated, and we will continue to encourage them to get vaccinated to protect themselves, their families, and their colleagues.”

M.C. Dean also hosted onsite vaccine clinics at large project sites, with local health departments and medical professionals available to answer questions about the vaccine and administer vaccines to interested employees.
