M.C. Dean employs a corporate-wide Quality Management System (QMS) certified to ISO 9001:2008 that includes both Quality Assurance and Quality Control. The entire value chain (design, procurement, assembly, installation, testing, operations and maintenance) employs a series of activities in the following areas:

- Quality Assurance (QA) delivers proactive guidelines to assure quality and prevent defects from emerging into the system during pre-assessment, design review, and implementation.
- Quality Control (QC) evaluates level of quality of the delivered systems using techniques and activities as agreed upon with customers and/or stakeholders prior to commencing work. QC improves the quality of products or methods by focusing on such outputs as rework decisions, acceptance decisions, and adjustment of processes.
- Quality Improvement (QI) ensures M.C. Dean meets and exceeds our Critical Success Factors (CSFs) in the execution of the contract.
