A Glimpse into Tech Expo

Here’s a peak into last year’s highlights. M.C. Dean hosted its employee-only Tech Expo event at the company’s headquarters. The agenda focused heavily on employee learning and development with the intent of advancing its culture of expertise, agility, and trust.

Dr. Michio Kaku

Dr. Michio Kaku is a world-renowned theoretical physicist and futurist. He holds the Chair in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York, is an author of three New York Times best sellers, and is working to complete Einstein’s equation for a “theory of everything.”

Completion of registration is NOT confirmation that you will be attending Tech Expo. All registrations are subject to manager approval.

Tech Expo is an invite-only event. Please be sure that you are registering using the same email as the one that received the invitation. If you continue to experience issues with registration, contact [email protected] for assistance.

Do NOT book travel until you have received an official registration confirmation with the proper job code from the [email protected] email. Travel should only be booked for employees living outside of 50 miles of downtown D.C.

Completion of registration is NOT confirmation that you will be attending Tech Expo. All registrations are subject to manager approval for confirmation of project staffing and other factors.

All travelers will be granted partial per diem up to $60/day of Tech Expo with submitted receipts as lunch will be provided each day of the event. Meals and lodging for travel dates outside of the core Tech Expo days will be charged back to your Strategic Business Unit.

Dress for Tech Expo attendees is business casual. M.C. Dean school colors (blues, greens, grays) are highly encouraged. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested for all conference activities.

Attendees will be receiving an email with a QR code the week of September 23. You will need to bring either a digital or printed copy of this QR code to print your badge at the registration area. For security purposes, a government-issued ID is mandatory to pick up your Tech Expo badge and you may only print the badge associated with your photo ID. Badges for Tech Expo will not be mailed in advance.

While we LOVE our extended M.C. Dean family, Tech Expo is an invite-only event primarily focused on employee learning and development. Family members and friends are not permitted to be in sessions or on the show floor.

Please email [email protected] to confirm that your plans have changed and you will no longer be able to attend Tech Expo. If you have a TAF booked, please work with the travel team to cancel your accommodations.

Employees attending Tech Expo should confirm with their SBU leadership on the appropriate job code to apply their time at the event to. There is no corporate overhead code for attending.
